Percussion tools reach deep into tight muscles, accelerating release with a firm yet relaxing touch. At Makena Massage we like the size and power of the Theragun Mini, using a variety of broad or specific attachments to aid in full body relaxation.
Cupping massage is used to increase circulation, decompress tight muscles and fascia, and detox localized areas of soft tissue (this is what leaves behind the classic dark cupping circles on the surface of the skin). Cups effectively pull muscle and fascia up, away from skeletal structures, a feeling similar to deep tissue and myofascial massage techniques.

Absolutely! Our standard oil is a custom blend of organic virgin coconut oil and organic olive oil. Both of these are highly beneficial for the hydration and protection of our skin, without being too heavy or greasy. All massage treatments are offered this custom oil blend with, or without, added essential oils.
For facial cupping treatments our base oil is organic fractionated coconut oil. This non-greasy oil is deeply moisturizing and lightweight for delicate skin.
We only offer outcall massage therapy and outcall spa experiences in order to bring comfort and ease to your home.
